Our dog training journey all began with our first German Shepherd Rebel as newly married college students. Our "crazy" dream was to have a beautiful well trained shepherd, and we were not about to leave that up to chance, especially living in college apartments.

We watched training videos, trained daily, exercised daily and along the way our efforts created the companion better than we could have imagined. Rebel went hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and travelled to national parks with us. We started realizing how truly uncommon it was to have a dog as well trained as ours was. Friends began asking for advice and we would get compliments on his obedience and manners wherever we went.

After working jobs we weren't passionate about, it got us thinking about pursuing something we were actually passionate about. I remember asking my husband, "what about learning to be dog trainers?" We honestly did not know the industry at all. That night we decided to reach out to one of our favorite trainers on YouTube and asked if they had an apprenticeship program, to which they responded YES!

So, in 2018 we packed up our lives and moved across states to Kentucky, to apprentice with a World Class Protection Dog Facility. We lived in the kennels and learned valuable skills that have changed our lives. After our time there was done, we became the lead trainers of a dog training facility and managed the whole operation for a few years. In 2022, we realized it was time to open our facility. This leads us to where we are today as the proud owners of Streamline K9!
